KCA settled a trip and fall case caused by a defective elevator. Our client was badly injured in a parking lot when her elevator failed to level, causing a “drop down” when the doors opened. We utilized the services of an expert engineer who was able to determine the defect that caused the accident. Settlement was reached prior to trial, in non-binding mediation, in the amount of $300,000.00.
